The Sink Method

From our sermon on Sunday about prayer we introduced the Sink Method of Praying.  It is a method that a few months ago Arron Sink mentioned to me in the parking lot of the church from a sermon he had just heard.  It uses your hand, and each finger represents a different aspect of what to pray for. Here’s how it goes…

Little finger – confession – 1 John 1:9

Ring Finger – Petition – 1 Samuel 1:27 (my needs)

Middle Finger – Intercession – Ephesians 6:18-19 (The Needs of Others)

Index Finger – Giving Thanks – Ephesians 5:20

Thumb – Praise – Psalm 146:1-2

Remember, prayer is just a conversation with you and God.  He is waiting to hear from you…

He wants to hear from you…

so Pray!
