Our church praying for 40 days for our Take It to the Streets Ministry. Each day will have a scripture reading, a list things to pray for and I will write a quick devotional thought from the day’s passage. The schedule is not original with us but is built off of YouVersion’s Bible App.

The one thing God desires the most is for us to remain with Him and walk with Him through this life. We are just not as good as we should be in doing that.
This is why He repeatedly calls His people to repentance time and time again throughout the scriptures.
I know this is not the first time during our 40 days together that our prayers have turned to focus on our heart, who we are and what we might need to repent of.
But this practice is one of the major keys to reaching our community. It is essential that you and I follow God and allow Him to make changes in our hearts on a daily basis. The way we live and what we do is just as important as what we say when it comes to witnessing.
So today ask forgiveness for your sins and ask God to convict you of some you may have missed.
Ask God, by the power of His Spirit, to impact and draw people to Himself in our community and pray that He will use FBC to be a part of that.
Pray for all that will attend our church both now and in the future, that God will move in our mist and inspire us to live for Him.
