Writing a Bigger Story

Today we were blessed to have Eric Davis speak at our church.  This post is an exercise you can do to see how to effectively apply the truth from his message today  This is also an extra set of Questions that tie into our small group sheet for this week (November 4th) which you can find on our church’s website – www.farmingtonbc.org

1. What are the greatest problems involving raising children that you face in your family? At this point make a personal list of problems or difficulties you face as a parent. Then choose the three most important of these problems and list them according to priority. Share with you spouse or if single a close friend and compare with his or her list.

We feel most concerned about:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

2. What kind of parent do you want to become? Talk together and state three specific goals each of you has for yourself. How can you begin to change?

Our personal goals are:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

3. Now attempt to determine three family goals that the two of you share.

Our specific combined family goals are:

1.
2.
3.
