Do you remember when you started your current job? I do. It was about 4 years ago and on day one I was asking a few questions about Farmington Baptist.
Where was she at?
What needed attention?
Where does God want Her to go in the future as well as today? What do I need to do today to follow God in that direction?
Then I went at it.
What if we treated everyday we lived as Day 1?
I think we would be more likely to remain ready for Jesus’ return.
Maybe that is the secret of keeping the ol lamp burning.
In other words…
Maybe that’s the secret to living life as if Jesus could come at any moment…
Instead of living it like its out last day on earth, live life as if it’s our “first day on the job”
