Behold (D2)

These post are based off of my reading of this book, however these post do not cover the content of the book. I encourage you to get a copy of this book and read it. These post can be read by themselves – they will stand on their own. I’m just taking a thought (big or small) that hit me in the reading and then writing about it.

Hear

We hear many stories at Christmas time. Stories about clatters on a roof top, a reindeer with a nose, an Elf that is really a human, a train that travels to the North Pole, a cranky rich old man, people of all shapes and sizes coming back to their hometowns where they fall in love and then it snows, and even a dog who wins a decorating contest. The stories are limitless.

We watch, read and listen.

Hear

But in the hustle and bustle of everything happening and all the sounds and stories we take time to digest make sure you take the time to listen to the love story of God. The one that was written before the creation of the world, the one that was written about your rescue, the one where he pursued us with his love and affection.

It is the greatest story ever told…

and it’s true

and still being fulfilled.

“Hear, O Isreal! The Lord your God is one. Love him with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.” Deuteronomy 6:4
