Our church praying for 40 days for our Take It to the Streets Ministry. Each day will have a scripture reading, a list things to pray for and I will write a quick devotional thought from the day’s passage. The schedule is not original with us but is built off of YouVersion’s Bible App.
– Exodus 7:1-7
You may think you just can’t do it.
We all know God has called us to reach out community for Him. We know that the main job of the church is to make disciples but the task is scary and hard.
Scary because we are not sure we will say the right thing. We may even wonder what the right thing is to say. We may be afraid of meeting new people. We may be afraid of “going alone.”
God already knows your fear and He has an answer for it. Now it may not be an “Aaron” but it is something that will help you overcome the fear and push you toward engagement.
– Pray today that God will give you the courage you need so you can be a witness in your community.
– Pray that others will get over their fear of sharing the gospel with people.
