Hannah’s Song

Well our series “8 Maids a Milking” wrapped up yesterday.  But there is something you might not know about it.

The song that Hannah Hall sung for us yesterday (and did a wonderful job on it) “Blessings” is a song that God used in her life when she was mourning the loss of a child through an unfortunate miscarriage. The song brought her comfort during her time of pain.

Why?

Because Jesus says…

“Fortunate are those that Mourn, (that are mourning an unfortunate circumstance) for they will be comforted”

This is a blessing for sometimes in life…

“When darkness seems to win

We know that pain reminds this heart

That this is not,

this is not our home

It’s not our home”

Thanks Hannah for the reminder that God meets us in our pain and the biggest blessing we have from God is that He walks with us through it.

  1. You are very welcome. Beautifully said Philip. Yes God does meet and walk through the pain with us. And what a fine job he does. ALL the time GOD is good!
