Starting January 1st 2018, I would like to challenge you to read a chapter of proverbs each day for the month of January. (We have done this before in years past but have taken a few years off recently.)
In addition, each day in January, @ phillipbrande.com, we will post a devotional on the chapter we read that day. The posting will be written by either myself, some friends of mine, or from one of our Elders at FBC. You will also be able to comment on the blog about what stood out to you from your reading from that day. This way we can go through Proverbs together and will meditate on the same theme and passage each day.
I hope you will take this opportunity in this New Year to not only begin connecting with scripture, but to connect with us and others in an ongoing discussion about God’s Word and what it means to each of us.
If you want to accept the challenge just comment on this post. Also if you haven’t already – go ahead and subscribe to this blog (at least for the month of January). That way you will receive a notification each time a new 31 Day post is posted which will serve as a reminder to keep your 31 day commitment.
My prayer is that those that accept this challenge will find it very profitable not only for their spiritual walk but they will find themselves closer to God and hungry for more of His wisdom at the end of the 31 Days…
