When I first started the blog several years ago, it was “the thing to do”. Back then I used iWeb, an apple product that came on each of their computers. I started not so much to get information out to people but to get things out of my mind onto “paper”. Over the years I have written things that never got published. Mainly because they were to personal or I felt like they would not make sense to most people. Not that people would not be smart enough but the scattered nature of the thoughts that were written had no common thread that would hold them together. They would be hard to follow – I had trouble following them and I concluded so would everyone else.
I’ve had a blog for 17 years.
17 years!
Crazy.
17 years of thoughts, on different subjects, some I knew a lot about and others I didn’t. Sometimes a fictional story or sequence like the Possum Chronicles. Other times devotional like the ones on Proverbs. Many post, many spelling mistakes and grammar – well I did my best. Sometimes I would make commitments to write more. Commitments that were more for me than others because I wanted to be more constant. All that to say – well here we are. And where do we go from here?
Well we keep writing, and hopefully, maybe a little more constant than I have been over the past few years.
I should really write more often.
BTW – I have started writing a new book. Should be on its way to the publisher this time next year – at least thats the goal.
